To Create Program Classes
When you create a
Programs class, you can define its attributes, extended behaviors and templates
to use. This class may have other properties and associations like any other
Object type.
Follow these steps to define Program classes for use in AssetWise CONNECT Edition ALIM.
- In AssetWise Director, navigate to System Admin, then select Classes & Attributes.
- Expand Programs in the tree.
- Create a Program class to accept Programs.
- Expand the Attributes section.
- Select the appropriate values for each attribute, for example, Estimated Number of Assets, Overall Scope of Program, and Summary Information.
- In the Child Classes section, create each Child Class that is related to this Program.
- Expand the Extended Behavior section and then click Configure.
- Select each scenario for which you want to display a warning, for example, to create a snapshot from the template, when the task is completed.
- In the Relationship Type section, confirm that the Program to Document relationship exists. See Creating a Named Relationship for more information.
- You can expand the Files section and then click Add Files to attach files to the Program.
- Expand the Templates section and then click Add.
- The Template Defaults dialog appears, and prompts you to select a default Activity Type template to be used for this Program. For example,
- Enter or search for the Template Name in the box provided, and then click Finish.
- You can also enter a Mask for the template.
- On the Template Defaults dialog, select a default activity template name from the list and then click Finish.
You can now create
Program Line Items.
